History:
Valencia CF will return to Copa del Rey action in midweek against CD Arenteiro on Thursday 16th of December at 7 pm kick-off time at the Estadio Municipal Do Espiñedo in the second round in a knockout tie format.
This will be the first ever meeting between the two sides.
CD Arenteiro are a newly promoted side in the Segunda RFEF division and they advanced to the second round of the Copa del Rey after beating SD Logroñés by a 2-1 scoreline in an eventful opening knockout tie.
CD Arenteiro are on the wrong end of the table on 13 points. On the other hand, Valencia CF a have found a recent good run of form as they are on a three game winning streak in all competitions and they will be chasing back to back wins in the Copa del Rey at CD Arenteiro.
